 Bangalore: A total of 8 units are in operation under BMS East Zone Date:25.05.24 On Saturday the deserving drivers and operators of all the units were recognized and honored with certificates of appreciation and cash prizes.  The organization has celebrated the month of January'2024 as "Month of Neet & Full Uniform(proper uniform, shoes , Name badge & Neatly groomed) and Display of Adequate route nos  and route detail display board in the bus  " and a total of 235 staff will be selected* out of the 3000 driving staff of the zone for good discipline, attendance, *courteous behavior with passengers, full uniform and display of prescribed signboards.  Simple programs will be organized at Indiranagar, Koramangala, Electronics City, Chandapur, Huskoor, Gunjur, Sarjapur Road and Hoodi Depot of the zone.

 Zonal Divisional Controller Mr. Srinath, Divisional Traffic Officer Mr. Purushottam participated in the functions of Indiranagar and Koramangala depo and distributed prizes and letters of appreciation.  Good discipline, attitude, operation according to schedule is very important and all the staff are told to follow.  All the staff told about the necessity of performing the prescribed duties adequately every day.  Indiranagar Depot Manager Mrs. Lakshmi and staff and Koramangala Depot Senior  Manager Mr. Srinivasa Reddy and staff were present.

 In other units as well, DME, Mr. K.  Chandu and respective unit managers presided over prize distribution.
BMTC has taken up this competitive initiative that to bring discipline, passengers friendly behaviour, polite attitude  among our crew and provide proper information to BMTC commuters .
