Exhibition at PUC of Abbas Khan College for Women

The Exhibition at Abbas Khan College was a grand show organized by the PU College on 3 rd September 2022, with more than 95 models on display. The students portrayed their talents with great zest and effort. The Exhibition was inaugurated by the Esteem Members of the Management Janab Murtuza Hussain Treasurer CMA, Janab Hussain Sheriff & Janab Riyaz Ahmed Sheriff Joint Secretaries CMA, escorted by the Principals of both PUC and Degree. They were highly impressed to see the creativity and talents of the young minds. Some of the models on display were Respiratory System, Foetal Development, Bank with ATM, Calculator, Interior Decoration (Monochromatic scheme), Forms of Business organization, Franchising, Taj Mahal, Poverty and Poverty line, Consumer Education, Traditional Textiles of India, Food Pyramid, Food Production Chain, Solar Cooler, Rain Water Harvesting etc. Students of CMA High School, Teachers and the Students of AKCW came to visit. The models put up on display were appreciated and judged by the senior teachers of the College. Ultimately, yet another occasion after the College Day brought great excitement among the students.
It was no less a moment of joy earmarked on Saturday 27th August 2022 on the visit of Dr. Ashwath Narayan C.N., Minister of Higher Education I.T. & B.T. Science and Technology, Electronics, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and livelihood, Govt. of Karnataka as Chief Guest for the College Day celebration. This institute is run by the Central Muslim Association of Karnataka with the aim of assuring and reassuring quality growth in education among the student minorities. Prof. Zubeda Begum, Principal Degree College presented a glimpse of the college profile after which the minister released the newsletter, ‘Zeal for Yoga’ 2021.-22. The event continued with the announcement of prizes to the Proficiency award winners by Prof. Sabiha Zubair, Vice-Principal. In his address, the chief Guest congratulated and encouraged the students to grow out of all extremes and create their identity with a true purpose as Bangalore is a land of leaders. He also congratulated the Management for their support in the great cause.
The College Day event was inaugurated by the Guest of Honor, Sri Uday Garudachar, member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly. About hundred students received scholarships sponsored by Mr. Firos Babu B.P. of Karnataka Regional Head, Malabar Gold & Diamond, Jayanagar, Bangalore. It continued with the address and motivation by the Esteem Members of the Management, Janab Murtuza Hussain, Vice- President CMA, Dr. Zaheeruddin Ahmed, General Secretary CMA, presided by the Joint Secretaries of CMA, Janab Hussain Sheriff and Janab Riyaz Ahmed Sheriff. The event concluded with the Presidential address by Mr. Farooq Mahmood, President CMA, who motivated the students to elevate themselves and construct their role by defining the true meaning of empowerment of women. The event was compered by Dr. M.S. Vidya, HOD, Kannada, and the celebration ended finally with the National Anthem.
